Configuring Mac Settings for the Travel Dock

In order to limit interruptions to uploading data and charging pods, you will need to prevent automatic sleeping when the display is off. This will maintain the WiFi connection to the travel dock when the Mac is not being used.

Depending on the OS you are running on your Mac, the screens might look slightly different. But the steps should be the same:

Step 1: Open system settings

Step 2: Navigate to "Battery" in the left side-bar

Step 3: Scroll down and click "Options" in the bottom right corner

Step 4: Toggle on "Prevent automatic sleeping on power adapter when the display is off"

Step 5: Change the "Wake for network access" setting to "Always". This will allow the pods to charge and communicate, even if the laptop lid is closed.
