Activity - Any time you use your pods to collect movement data, usually on a specific movement like jumping or pitching.

Activity type - A specific movement you can collect data from, with the addition of “Open Activity” to cover any movement or movement set not included in the list.

API key - A unique identifier for each organization that allows the Cloud Connector to securely transfer data to that organization.

Assessment - A group of activities measured for one person, taking up to 5 hours.

Asymmetry - A percentage calculated by comparing the total g-force generated during an activity by the left and right feet.

Chat - A feature that allows you to communicate with the Plantiga team directly from plantiga.io.

Cloud Connector - The service that transfers data from the pods to the cloud for analysis.

CSV file -A downloadable plain text table of the unmodified sensor outputs for each pod.

Daily - The page displaying a person’s data for all activities on single day, with some additional summary metrics for that day.

Dashboard - The page displaying a person’s data for all activities over a period of time.

Data Views - More detailed visualizations of data generated during a single activity.

Feed - The page displaying a chronological list of all activities for a person.

Info - A data view that shows all metadata and tags for an activity; these are primarily entered post-activity.

Pod Chips - Icons on the People page that summarize which pods are paired to which person as well as the current pod status.

Intensity - A metric calculated by dividing the total g-force generated during an activity by the length of the activity in minutes, in gpm (g-force per minute).

Load - A metric category that includes metrics associated with endurance and activity impact.

Mark - A time stamp entered by the user during an activity using the Stopwatch to identify specific events of interest for later review.

Metrics - Individual, useful measurements extracted from the raw data of one or more activities.

Movement Maps - A visualization of a person's movement signature for each step across all six axes measured by our IMU.

Name - A category of Info where the practitioner can enter more descriptive title for an activity.

Norman - The artificial intelligence of our system.

Notes - A category of Info where the practitioner can enter additional info for an activity not included in the predetermined categories.

Organization
- A user environment set up for a particular clinic, team, business, or other group, which includes the ability to add a group of people, view their data, and select specific activities to be assessed.

Pain Rating - A category of Info where the practitioner can enter how painful an activity felt for a person, on a scale from 0 to 10.

Practitioner - Anyone given login access to plantiga.io for purposes of collecting and reviewing data.

Performance - A metric category that includes metrics associated with strength, speed, or agility.

Person - Anyone for whom a data collection profile is created in plantiga.io.

Pods - The sensor package that can be fitted into the Plantiga insole for collecting data on a person. The Pods page displays all pods belonging to an organization or to a single person as well as the status of those pods.

Profile - The page where person-specific information, such as paired pods, height and weight, and injury status, is displayed and edited.

Raw Signal - A data view that shows the combined g-forces for all axes (√(x^2 + y^2 + z^2)) over time for continuous events during an activity.

RPE - Rate of perceived exertion, a category of Info where the practitioner can enter how strenuous an activity felt for a person, on a scale from 1 to 10.

RSI - Reactive strength index, a metric calculated for Cyclic Jump and Consecutive Countermovement Jump activities from the ratio between ground contact time and flight time for each event in an activity.  In the RSI data view, discrete RSI scores from the left and right feet are compared for each event in the activity.

Settings - A function of plantiga.io that allows practitioners to control global settings for their organization, such as available activity types, practitioner invites, and more.

Speed - A metric calculated for walking and running activities as the continuous centre of mass speed over the course of a running or walking activity. In the speed data view, maximum, average, and local average speeds can be seen, along with individual foot speeds and the speed profile for the entire activity.

Stopwatch - A function of plantiga.io that allows practitioners to capture data for an activity based on start and stop times.

Summary - Information related to all of a person’s activities for a single day, e.g. total number of activities or total g-force for all activities of all activity types.

Total g-force - A metric calculated from the acceleration of the foot along all three axes.

User Guide - Documentation that covers all aspects of the system from setup to data interpretation.
