Collecting Data

To collect activity data on a person, make sure pods are paired to them, the pods are in their insoles and the insoles are in their shoes. We recommend using plantiga.io on your phone to start & stop stopwatches for ease of use.

Collecting data on one person

  • Go to the Record page on the left sidebar. If you are on a mobile device, click the hamburger menu in the top left corner to show the sidebar
  • On the Record page, select the activity type you want to collect and select the athlete you want to collect on. If there are warnings, please address them before starting the data collection. If you ignore warnings, data may not record properly.
  • When warnings have been resolved, make sure the athlete is ready to begin the activity, standing with their feet flat on the floor.
  • Click START and ensure that the athlete keeps their feet still for at least 3 seconds, while the sensors calibrate. Then, have them perform the activity according to the protocol.
  • When they are finished, click STOP.
  • On the next page, add any notes for the activity or change the name. Click DONE to finish with this person, click NEXT to record another activity with this person, or click RESET to remove the activity.
  • When you have finished, return the pods to the dock to upload data from the activity.

Collecting data on multiple people

  • To collect data on multiple people at the same time, follow the same steps as above, but select as many athletes as you would like. Sessions will be started for all athletes that you have selected.
