Getting Started - Home Dock

Use this guide to set up your Plantiga Home Dock for charging Pods and uploading data without a Mac computer.

What is the Home Dock?

The Home Dock is designed to stay in one location (gym, clinic, facility, or home) and connect directly to a private Wi-Fi network. Unlike the Travel Dock, it does not require a Mac and is not intended to be portable.

Requirements

Before starting, confirm the following:

  • Plantiga account created and active
  • You have access to a Private Wi-Fi network with:
    • Network name (SSID)
    • Password
    • (Captive portals and enterprise networks are not supported)
  • You have a computer with Google Chrome
    • Setup must be completed in Chrome
  • Bluetooth must be enabled on your computer
  • You will need a power outlet for the dock

If you do not have access to a compatible Wi-Fi network, contact support@plantiga.com.

Setup Steps

Power the Home Dock

  1. Plug the Home Dock into a wall outlet
  2. Wait up to 1 minute for initialization
  3. Confirm the dock is ready for setup when the five lights on top turn blue

Connect the Home Dock to your Organization

  1. Open Google Chrome
  2. Log in to plantiga.io
  3. Navigate to Devices → Docks
  4. Click Add Home Dock (blue button in the bottom-right corner)
  5. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your computer
  6. When the dock appears, select it

Connect to Wi-Fi

  1. Enter your Wi-Fi network name and password when prompted
  2. Confirm the network is a standard private Wi-Fi (not hotel, captive portal, or enterprise)
  3. Wait for the connection process to complete
  4. When the status shows Connected, close the pop-up

You should now see the Home Dock listed on the Docks screen.

If it does not appear, repeat the setup steps.

Insert Pods

  1. Place the Pods into the Home Dock
  2. Confirm the Pods appear in the Plantiga interface

Setup Complete

Your Home Dock is ready when:

  • The dock appears in Devices → Docks
  • Pods appear when inserted into the dock

You can now use the Home Dock as your permanent charging and data-upload station.
