Pod troubleshooting

A few things to try if you're having trouble with your pods

If you place your pods on the dock and the lights don’t turn on

  • Check that the pods are seated properly on the dock - wiggle them around until they click into place
  • Check that the pads on the underside of the pods and the pins on the dock are free of dirt and debris - clean with a dry cloth if necessary
  • Check that the USB cable is securely connected to both the dock and the computer - try flipping the USB C connector in the dock or try alternate USB ports on your computer
  • If you are using a USB A to C adaptor, try using another adaptor or USB hub
  • Check the cloud connector and make sure that the dock is recognized

If your pods are on the dock and the lights blink red-yellow-green lights for a long period of time

  • Check that your Cloud Connector is running (you should see the icon in your menu bar) and that it is connected to the Plantiga cloud (if you click on the Cloud Connector icon, you should see the message “Connected to the Plantiga Cloud”)
  • Check that your Organization is selected - click on the Cloud Connector icon, go to Options, then Organization Select, and make sure that your Organization has a check mark next to it

If your pods are on the dock and the lights remain blinking orange for a long period of time

  • Make sure your computer is connected to the internet - if there is no internet connection the data cannot upload

If your pods are on the dock and the lights are red

  • Take them off the dock, wait five seconds, and put them back on the dock for at least 25 minutes to reset them
  • If the lights are still red, contact Plantiga support on Intercom

If your pods are in sleep mode but one or both lights are still on

  • Take them apart and put them back together to reset sleep mode

If your pods are in use and the lights are red

  • Put them back on the dock to reset them

If you take your pods off the dock and they are solid orange

  • Leave them off the dock for 24 hours to discharge, and then put them back on the dock to reset them
